Connection Host and Guest on VirtualBox (xp and Ubuntu)
1. Click the button and select network settings. There are several tabs to choose theadapter. Setting on one adapter for example adapter1 with Host-only mode. By selectingthis option you will automatically have an IP virtual host 192.168.56.1.
2. 2. Log into the virtual operating system, please ping 192.168.56.1 as the address. If the host is connected means your host already access. Do not forget to check your virtual machine ipconfig to find out how the address provided by DHCP (usually192.168.56.101).
